KZ1000 Speedo/Tach Ratios

I am doing a gauge swap and need to be 100% sure of the ratios.

I am about 99% sure that the speedo ratio is 2240@60. Seen this a couple places.

The tach is what I am unsure of. I can't find a definitive answer on this one. I see where people mention it a little and say what they think it is but no one 100% confirms the ratio.

I have seen 1:5 and that seems to be the most confident sounding one. Can anyone confirm the tach ratio 100%?

This is for a '82, if that matters.

This is a issue with the speedo drives, I had one that had me doing 50 at 25.....LOL

I really don't remember them being marked in any way to the ratio.

Made it out with nothing more than some cracked ribs. Love full protection riding gear. Came around the corner going 50 on pavement and it switched to gravel.

Anyone else know the ratio on the 82 kz1000 tach?
