Looking for a new Fuel Pump

Looking for a new Fuel Pump, but im confused on which one to buy. My 1980 kz1000G requires a fuel pump that connects to part of the hiring harness. I don't understand how a fuel pump works.
Besides the one offered on Redlinecycles, does anyone know of any others that would work?

I use a "Walbro GSL393 In-Line Pump"on my 750turbo.
It produces approx 150 liters per hour at 43.5 psi.

They are an excellent alternative...beware of imitations. ;)

The fuel pump has a small electric motor, running on 12 volts D.C.,turning the pump mwchanism. On my bike the pressure is 33 PSI, except when I open the throttle, and then it's 35 PSI.

I have just installed a Walpro GSL393 on my GPz1100A2. Recommended by 750Turbo.com forum and others.

Had to purchase the right-angle bend separately. I bought the right angle bend from my local car speed shop. Speedpro brand from australia. Really good quality and looks good.
note: replace your fuel hoses while you're at it. Fuel injection rated (High pressure) for the pressure side. Doesn't really matter about the low pressure side (from the tank, through the filter and up to the inlet to the pump).

My original fuel pump was replaced as it failed to run one day. Procedure to fix this is to tap the fuel pump with a small hammer (I didn't want to risk it hapenning on the road). Mine stopped, probably due to the bike sitting for 3 months at a time and the fact that it has done in excess of 90K miles.
