Only an extensively trained kick start operator should kick start a 78 z1r with electronic ignition.flhwesty wrote: Is it safe to kick start a bike with an electronic ignition? (78 Z1R with dyna)
The best thing to do if you happened to have a 78 z1r would be to sell it to me for a ridiculously low price so you don't have to worry about damaging it.
I took an extensive course on kick starting z1rs on line at www.Blackbanshees got too many z1rs and wont sell any,but he'll teach you to kickstart one.com before the feds pulled the plug on him. :woohoo:
Yes you can kick start it
