They are roughly 40 US dollars and makes life easier. They only need to know the overall headlight diameter.
Remember, don't work on your bike so much you never ride it.

i'll see if i can find one in Aus
Any light labeled H6024 will probably be right regardless of manufacturer. The "H" means halogen and the 6024 is a standard size code.
So this one will be OK?
Things are so bloody cheap in the US!!
I can't even find one here and if i do, no doubt it will cost 5 times as much !
I just thought, I assume the US sealed beam would dip to right which is probably why i can't find one here as we drive on the left.
Does anyone know the UK or Aus part number for a dip to the left?

The beams don't aim right or left on the ones I have, just go straight. One of them does have a diffuser to throw an arc of light around the ground near the bike, very cool.
The one on ebay looks right.
My last boss was kind of a dip and his politics definitely leaned to the left....Does anyone know the UK or Aus part number for a dip to the left?

I hadn't thought of the dipping right/left thing until i saw a guy selling them here on a website saying they are not road legal only for track use as they dip to right! exactly the same model.wireman wrote:   Our sealed beams point straight ahead unless you buy a california certified version, those definately point to the left! :woohoo:
Oh well they aren't exactly bright anyway so I'm pretty sure it would make any difference if they did.
Cheers for the responses.

This is why all those a-holes with HIDS are always blinding everyone, most of them do not realize they should be aiming their left light a little lower, so they point it up and blind oncoming traffic. Good fun.
