Headlight low beam gone, what are the options?
15 Sep 2012 04:55
My low beam has just packed up and my KZ has the original sealed beam unit on it.
Can anyone let me know what the options are for replacing it with another more modern type unit as it was pretty dim anyway.

Buy a regular round halogen replacement bulb and stick it right in there,a 70s chevy truck halogen bulb fits also if you cant find kawasaki listing.

Looks like basically the same as the Sylvania. I think I paid more than $12 though.

No idea whos truck this is,just used the picture to show you the head light/bulb is the same as the kawasaki unit
The bulb Im referring to is a sealed beam, millions of trucks used them in the 60s-70s it goes in just like the stock headlight.KZ1000inaus wrote:I can't stick a bulb in there as it's a sealed beam.! so the whole headlight is one big bulbwireman wrote: Buy a regular round halogen replacement bulb and stick it right in there,a 70s chevy truck halogen bulb fits also if you cant find kawasaki listing.

Any light labeled H6024 will probably be right regardless of manufacturer. The "H" means halogen and the 6024 is a standard size code.
