I think I squeezed a little too hard on the #1 needle seat in the carb getting it back out, now my needle won't move properly... :blush:

I'm lost. I cleaned out the carbs again, reset the floats and the 2&3 pipes are cooler than 1&4. I have the pipes wrapped, so I just touched them with my hands, it runs kinda rough at low rpm but seems fine above about 4k... In am tired of working on this thing. It's the same shit over and over again.

I know how you feel. I am having an issue with #4 on mine. It won't run as hot as the other and I have tried/done everything except buy new coils. I have already spent too much time and money on this bike. I might just sell it. :S

Maybe I missed, so I'll ask anyways...

Fuel float levels good on the suspicious carbs...?

Carb sync to spec...?

Rubber sync caps pliable or hard thus vacuum leak... ?

Intake boots sealing ideally...?

Pod air filters or OEM airbox...?

Ignition pick ups to spec...?

Ignition timing and camshaft pin counts correct (not off a tooth)...?

Once the coils are hot, check resistance measurements (primary & secondary match other working coil)...?

Place a timing light on plug wires 1 - 4... and verify idle and advance mark is being obtained (ignition cover/advancer)....Get the same results....?

What are the saprk plug conditions between good and bad cylinders...?

You have a Color Tune for viewing chamber ignition spark...?

Seems to me you still have some considerable t-shoot/testing to confirm yet... Don't give up quite yet for carbs are a bitch to learn, takes time & patients so get after it...
