Thanks Killman.

I had to check out about local laws on turn signals here in Iowa.

I always knew we had no helmet law, but we don't have any kind of inspection laws or even require turn signals.

I always wear all my gear anyway, so I don't really care about no helmet requirement, but who would ride without turn signals?

Now come to think of it, I have seen people on bikes use hand signals instead of turn signals. Just never thought they might not have had any turn signals.

ramtough - That tail light looks great. It does look like it was made to fit there. Nice work.

A lot of people have no signals on their bike. It looks cleaner if you want to deal with hand signals.

I have no qualms disregarding the 9" rule. As long as your state doesn't have inspections just use hand signals around cops and use the integrated signals to alert stupid drivers.

I don't even have a stop lamp, because I have two red signals that I wired for double duty. I have yet to see that it is illegal or been hassled over it.

Go green, buy a Kawasaki!
