i wonder if the Z1/kz 1000 advancer would Fit/work. they came in 10, 15, and 20 degrees of initial advance.
the Dyna 2000 is an electronic programmable advancer. it eliminates the stock mechanical advancer.

good point. and as u add wieght with solder, it will slightly alter the rate of advance (will adv. faster or sooner.).

Doing it mechanically is the old fashioned way, more time consuming, but cheaper if you have the time. We know you have the patience.

Some would only have like 4 different curves pre-programed to choose from.

the Dyna 2000 only has 2 curves. 1 for stock, and 1 for a little more lively motor, but u can make your own map if u like to experiment.

Would it be possible to drill and tap for a small screw in the advance stop? Juat an Idea.
