If yours are the aftermarket type w the metal diamond as part of the casting, you could get the stock type instead & remove plastic sleeves. Z1Enterprises.com should have something. I guess the fitment will be fine.

Another alternative is to get KZ440 front turn signal stems - e.g. 1980 KZ440-A1. Again, I don't know how the fitment will be - not sure if the threaded end is long enough for your application. The cross-reference in the diagrams at Kawasaki.com will show what other bikes use them.

Also, some early Honda stems might work as well, but I don't recall what model(s) - CB750? perhaps? Or maybe one of those other CBs. Someone on another Kaw forum put them on his big KZ.

Also from ebbaayy: aftermarket CB750 stem.
.

Edit: I believe PartsnMore.com has these stems listed under the CB750 SOHC for six bucks apiece, but the quality probably isn't that great. $35 minimum order.

They work w aftermarket replica Kaw turn signals. My guess is that turn signals of the era are kinda universal fit. I don't know if newer signals will work or not - I've never checked into them.

Hello, bucky242, and WELCOME to KZrider! :cheer:

Is the objective to remove the signal lights altogether, or to merely disable them?

Including information about bike year and model is helpful to viewers and usually elicits better responses.
It's easy to put the information in your signature where it shows in all posted messages, past and future.
And may be changed whenever and as often as desired.
If wanting a signature showing information about the bike in posted messages, it's easy to do. Here's how:
