1975 z1b Starter Relay... Which Lug?

The following picture is how my (near) basket-case Z1 came wired. I don't see very clear pictures in my manual so I can't tell which lug the hot and main fuse is supposed to be tied to and which lug gets the starter. There are also no markings on the relay itself.

I get the feeling that it might be wired backwards...

Anyone?

The 2 large posts just complete a circuit to each other when the solenoid is energized. So the starter to 1 and the battery cable to the other, which 1 is no difference.

Sweet.

I put the hot closest to the battery.

If your starter relay(solenoid) dies in the future, remove it,and visit a local riding lawn mower shop. For about $15.00, a little rewiring and mounting. you can have a good replacement far cheaper than what the bike shop wants.

Be aware that a ground wire may be needed to make it work.
