Nuetral switch on KZ1300
21 Mar 2010 12:15
Hello-newbie here
I have a kz1300 and it only starts with the clutch pulled in.The nuetral light doen not light either. I did check the bulb and it works-Is there a way to trouble shoot the nuetral switch or? I just don't want to throw parts at it(like I can find them anyway LOL)-Ive had other bikes that the clutch had to be pulled in but at least the light worked.-Is all the clutch-nuetral swith-light tied together,as far as if one don't work none of it works?
Thanks in advance for any help-This site looks awsome!

Hello, Doug, and WELCOME to KZR!
We're glad you're here!
Perhaps a wiring diagram would be helpful.
And there are several right here on site.
Find it by following a few steps as shown in the next successive posts.

The neutral switch is a ground. You need to measure between the neutral switch and a hot wire.
