a digital gauge on ebay was created by thompsonmx100
I just found this digital gauge on ebay sounds like fun they have a better one with some more options let me know what you think of it. I'm thinking about getting it for my cafe racer. I could just remove it at bike nights and pictures and shows to keep the minimalist look I'm after and get some cool techno crap at the same time

oh dear this look tempting!

The Veypor Indicator is an aluminum case for a Veypor or VR2 gauge that provides everything you need for a complete, standalone instrument system. It includes all the required indicator lights: turn signals, high beams, fuel indicator, oil light and neutral indicator in one compact aircraft grade aluminium case. The colourful, highly reliable and power efficient LEDs quickly convey important information at a glance.

Digital is fine for the bling factor, but when it comes to functionality nothing beats analog. I refer to the fact that if you need to check your speed or rpm quickly without taking your eyes off the road, perhaps at speed in a turn or other tight situation, trying to read numbers in sunlight and maybe even while wearing polarized glasses is MUCH slower than simply spotting the position of a pointer on dial. Yeah I saw that one too. I liked the gadgets of the veypor. It'dd be kinda cool to mess around with 0-60 times the horsepower setting. The vr 2 has a way to figure out your drag coefficient.
