Anyone have some exploded view images of the Dyna coils installed in their frames?

Reason I ask... See image where orientation is up and facing forward on the secondary.

OMR, this is how I installed mine. Note that the coils shown are the OEM's. I have Dyna 3 Ohm Green now.

I do not have an image, but I installed my green Dyna coils on my 82 GPZ1100 B2 facing down with the sparkplug leads to the rear.

i always mount my coils on stock frames up and plug leads forward and on modified frames[drag chassis] ialways mount them up front below the steering head out in the elements where they are easy to get to in case of problems.

Thanks for the replies guys...

As can be reviewed in the image, I figured out why they stated up and forward... Otherwise, the coil boots hit the frame and you would end up with weird bends on the plug wiring...

As for the mounting, I had to install the nut, then the spacer from OEM configuration. This provided enough clearance all the way around.

I put heat shrink on the spacers to keep ignition spark from jumping, also helps in case moisture seeps around the coils. I also put E6000 on the ignition to coil terminations, prevent high arc spark and moisture...

7mm high suppression spark plug wires were installed...
For the ignition to coil terminations, I used the OEM cable harnesses and tined/solder the ring terminals. Use heat shrink and rubber tape for added protections.

All from, you guessed it, our very own Z1 Enterprises...

Tomorrow, install the ignition plate... Should have the heads by end of next week.

I discovered the iron laminations will rust after exposure to the moisture in the air. To stop this problem I used some Glyptol high temperature varnish painted over the laminations. GC electronics sells it and I'd imagine it's available locally from the nearest electronic supply stores.

I was looking for pics of installed Dyna coils and came across this great thread. Just wondering where you guys got the spacers that go on the bolts? Can you pick them up at hardware stores?
