Does anyone know where to purchase the special crimpers to crimp stock bullet connectors. I bought my connectors from Z1 Enterprises but dont see the crimmpers in Jeff's tool section.

There is a good possibility that the crimpers you need are available thru Z1E but not shown on their site. In other words, call them and ask. There are many electrical components and tools not on the Z1E site that are in the parts catalogs available to them that they can order but probably don't stock as there isn't a lot of call for some of these products.

I don't have an answer, but I have $0.02 to add to this...
I, personally, take every opportunity like this to remove the bullets, and solder the connection, adding a jumper connection if necessary.
By the way, I *have* bought crappy little bullet connectors in the past (from AutoZone, not z1enterprises), and they didn't have a snug enough fit to connect to the existing bullets. So I ended up replacing both sides of the connection. Eventually, I just soldered it together anyway...

he does have them listed in the tool section, or did 4 days ago when i looked. I have bought the bullet connectors from Jeff and they fit perfectly.
For the bullet connectors a cheaper wire crimper will work well enough, but if you want to install the small pin connectors for block terminals you will want to get a nice crimper (as i have found out!).

Ditto to what Biquetoast said! A good hot solder joint has never failed me yet. Many a fine looking crimp has. For the extra time and material required, I ALWAYS go for a soldered joint.
If one is not familiar with the difference between a hot solder joint and a cold solder joint then a really good crimper, one made specifically for that connector and wire gauge, may be the next best solution.
I have worked in production and used crimped connectors of many types and they are very good and are even MIL spec approved. But this was done my skilled personnel using purpose built dies and calibrated crimpers. Me, I can't afford that stuff but I can afford soldering materials.
By the way, unlike the connectors I bought at Canadian Tire, the Z1 supplied connectors were always compatible with the original and with the matting metric contacts.
Like Biquetoast, just my 2 cents. Best of success.

The crimpers from "vintage connections" is a locking tipe crimper and will not reliese until the crimp is complete. Here is an example I did on my custom GPZ1200 project.

Looks good, looks pro. Which tool did you use? How did the crimps fair in the pull test?
