i have the same problem on my 83 twin,is there anyine that makes a heavier duty clutch?this seems to be a common problem.does anyone know where i can down load a repair manual for my bike? where is the best place to get a clutch or does any one have one for sale ? thanksB)

Well, I got the clutch out. Thanks Steell for that rear axel trick. I would have never thought of that. The surface looks fine where the clutch engages so no problem there. I could use some new pins as they're a bit beat up. The rollers look fine. The fun part is those allen bolts....all three sheered off into the flywheel rotor. I'll have to have them drilled out before I can do anything.

I saw a starter cluch on Ebay go for around 40.00 it was NOS too Just a couple of weeks ago ,, .. There are lots of twin parts on Ebay BUT ?? What are you really buying ? How many times have we bought something only to find out it was not any better than one you already have , What is New From Kawasaki price ? :unsure:

Got the screws out. Looks like they had worked their way out and that was the problem. Now to wait and see if Bike Bandit has those screws...if not off to the boneyard.

Just an FYI...Rice Paddy wants $90 for a flywheel with a $10 core charge. I was checking just in case.
