A Syncing feeling

Would my number 2 carb being out of sync cause it to just flood fuel into the cylinder?

The petcock is ok. I mean during riding. Ya see I pulled of my head and on no.2 that wasnt firing there was this long clean stripe where I see the fuel and carb cleaner has cleaned that part in the valve area. I took apart my carbs last night and cleaned them and 2 was out of sync a bit so I fixed that. I cleaned my carbs in the whole bottle of carb cleaner (gumout) and itworks really well and it has this lubricating quality to it so when I was putting the carb slides back in, they went in without a hitch.I have pics to show

Also to WG, my main jets do have the number 56 on them. They have the R, the square, then on the other side it just says 56. Itried taking a pic of it but its to small.

As long as you already have the carbs all ripped apart anyway check to see that your petcock is shutting off. You have a vacum petcock so without the engine running with it either in the reserve or on position no gas should flow out of it.

I have also had good luck with using Mothers mag polish on the end of a Q-tip to clean up any residial crud that may be in the brass part of the needle and seat. Just dip the Q-tip in Mothers and spin it around in the seat area till the brass gets nice and shiney.

Today we had unusually warm weather..middle 60s. I rode about 100 miles today. Mostly on the KZ but some on the Virago too. It was wonderful therapy for my mind. Installed a pigtail for a Battery Minder on the KZ so I can keep it charged.
