Before I start bothing everyone with repetative questions, is there a location here at KZR or off site to find lots of per model tech info like what, if any, other year carbs fit the 77 kz1000 ltd.

It looks, from the Kaw site, that 77 and 78 carbs are interchangable. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Any carburetor assembly from 73-80 will fit any Z1/KZ900/KZ1000 from those years because both venturis have about the same size (will fit manifolds/air box without mods and the carb spacing is the same. In other words, you can use any Z1 (Z1/Z1A/Z1B) carb, any 76/77 KZ900 VM26 or any 77-80 KZ1000 assembly on your bike. If you bike has stock airbox/pipes, stay with the stock jetting for the particular assembly in question. If you have made modifcations, then ask about rejetting.
