440 Single Carb Conversion? was created by gnigma
Has anyone ever attempted to do this? I'm thinking it would improve the in-town gas mileage, and the low and mid range power. I believe I can make a manifold out of plumbing fixtures, either steel or polyethylene, but the poly might not hold up the carb. Anyway, Since my 440 has been primarily a learner, I think I'll try as a winter curiosity project...

Go to the archives, do a search for stromberg, you will get links to info on the manifold and carb I put on my 650.
