Running rich and lean on 2 cylinders
01 Nov 2006 16:13
Just put my 78 1000 LTD back on the road and the plugs in the #1 and #3 cylinders are running different from the 2 and 4. The #1 is running rich and no amount of air screw adjustment seems to do anything. The #3 is running lean with the same problem. 2 and 4 are running good with the color I like to see on the plugs ( a light tan). My question is can you run the bike with the clips in different positions on the needles with out a problem in any other area of operation? The engine is stock I have K&N pods installed and a Kerker header with a street baffel.
