:S Maybe this is a stupid question?
I have a Z1A engine wich have a bore 1015 and a "Stage 2" tuning(if that make sense)
Is it possible to use the original carbs,Mikuni 28 mm?
And if so,what jets should I use?

Sorry,my question was a bit rash.
Just bought the bike as an "objekt".It´s a Rickman CR with a Kawa 900 engine.
I have not been able to track all the previous owners so I don´t know what kind of piston´s and cam´s it is.
All I know is that the bike has a history of racing many years ago.
The guy I bought it from also bought it in pieces and he had never started it.So I think I have some searching to do and then I´ll be back about this.
(Excuse my english,I´m from Sweden)

It should run with the 28mm. No big up in displacement. Won't have a "topend" rush but should pull nice thru lower part of rpm range. Need info on intake type, and exhaust type. I think 1 size up on mains for a 4-1 and 1 size up for intake mods. Am a drag racer so I don't think much about bottom end.

The intake is modified to around 32mm and the exhaust I don´t have yet but it will be 4-1 Kerker or Vance&Hines for street (if I don´t get my hands on a old Yoshimura system).
The cam lobes(right word?)on an original cam is rather pointed or "narrow" but on those cam´s they are more round or eggshaped so I suppose they are rather "hot".
So if I understand right I should try with 2 up on the main´s?

If you close the throttle slightly during a wide open throttle run and the acceleration picks up then you can go up on the mains.
