KZ1000st Emgo Pods Cut Off Pipes

Like the look and sound of this set-up... been messing around with it and having trouble getting it to run right... anyone else have a similar set-up? I'm running VM28's with 20 pilots and 117.5 mains and stock needle position... Emgo Pods are brand new... have new intake boots and new copper washers on exhaust... everything is airtight now... it's popping at all rpm's and I get the occasional pop out of the carbs... I'm going to continue to go up on both main and pilot I think or maybe I should be adjusting the needle at this point... just need a good starting point for jetting on this thing.
Thanks! Claude

i would try going down to 17.5 on the pilot and up to 120 on the main. See what happens there. If that does not do it then i would try adjusting the needle.

vacuum switch???
:pinch: DOH! I looked up vacuum switch in my manual... I didn't realize that that's what they call all that vacuum stuff that comes out of the valve cover... Yes, I did eliminate that... I ran a hose between the two outlets on the valve cover and threw the rest of it away... and plugged the vacuum ports on the intakes.
Cheers!

Put a 120 main in the carbs last night... runs pretty good above 3500rpms... stumbles below that. Rode it for about an hour last night on the highway at about 75-80... ran good at that speed... I'm going to try a bigger pilot jet next... if that doesn't work, I'll drop the pilots back down as suggested and try raising the needles...
