I was wondering if the carbs from a 82 kz750 will fit onto a 81 kz650. I have not seen the kz750 yet but there is one available for parts. Please let me know one way or the other. Thank You.

Yes and no. The 750 carbs were constant velocity type; either Mikuni or Keihin depending on model and were 34mm ID on the engine side. The 81 650 carbs are VM24 or 24mm on the ID on the engine side. This means that your intake manifolds will have to be swapped. The VM24 airbox won't work with the 34mm ID carbs so you will have to find an airbox that will work or go with pods. You will then need to rejet. Also, the throttle cable is different. The carb spacing is the same so a qualified yes, as noted.
