kz650 Manual petcock installed (pic)
10 Sep 2006 10:39
Have just finished installing the manual petcock kit I ordered from Z1 - followed instructions and to cut down on metal filings I held a strong magnet next to grinding area to attract any stray metal - then washed out area with gas - I used a dremmel tool with a tungsten bit and it did not take long - offered everything up and then put on sealant.
Amazingly for me everything went well with no leaks - as you can see from the pic I have routed the fuel line up under the seat and back down - this is only temporary as I am going to look for a right angled fuel safe pipe to connect to outlet. So far so good and I capped off the vacuum line with a spare cap.
