Getting the carbs in and out of this bike is a pain in my !@s:angry: Anyone have any tips to make this easier? ( I already replaced the airbox-carb rubber manifold)

I almost want to fork up the money for pods just to make taking the carbs out easier.

Why do you need to take the carbs out so often?

I have never had an airbox in my 1000 but I worked on a GS with airbow and few weeks ago. I used a pry bar from above the carbs and gently pried against the frame and pushed the airbox back a few inches. Make sure all the botls and screws are out of the airbox and it should move a little bit. I actually stradled the bike and used my shoulder to push on the pry bar so I could have both hands free to get the carbs out. Good luck.
