those are rotary throttle valves.
they look an AWFUL lot like the rotary carbs on nitro r/c car engines...
any links for those?
i can get to the lathe, haven't acquired a mill as of yet... 8^)

Roller throttle valves
Aluminum tube with a solid bar inside, bore holes through both at once, weld on flanges, and fab throttle linkage, add fancy details as desired
