I can't believe the dryer method won't ding up the tank, despite padding it. How many blankets are needed?

I think i would use my Coleman Sleeping bag and then stuff the dryer full until there was no room for it to band around in. Might put some colone in to kinda disquise the project.:whistle: Roy

I think he meant hair dryer? That's what I used. I ordered POR-15 motorcycle tank seal kit from the website and it worked perfect. It also comes with very good instructions and costs near the same I think. Kreem dissolves in acetone/MEK, the por-15 didn't (stayed on my hands forever) and it has a cool silver finish as opposed to the kreem white. The kit comes with tank cleaner and acid etch/prep included.
