Guys who are running Mikuni RS carbs

How do you set up the push/pull throttle cables when the factory twist grip is integrated into the engine start/stop switch housing? My factory housing is single cable and cannot accommodate another one.

It would look stupid to have the OEM switch housing next to an additional throttle grip assembly for the push/pull.

Another option is to use the switch housing and twist grip from a later model Kawasaki. It will not look identical to the original, but you should be able to find one that is similar enough to look like it came that way. You may have to fiddle with the electrical connectors a bit, as the wire colors and connectors may be different.

I have controls from a 1995 GPz 1100 for my build.

Hard to find dual cable control from a 1985 ZN1100

Constructed two cables with old OE elbow fittings adopted to new Motion Pro cables for the KZ1100A model, with new throttle-end knarps:

*Note: The 82 KZ1100 wire harness (w/internal switch) was easily swapped in, with NO modification required.

+1 - I am using ZX6R switches and a ZX1400 throttle converted to single cable for my BS34's

Is the juice worth the squeeze with these carbs? I hear they really wake the bike up.

But, they often require adjustment (depending on the weather) where I ride in Michigan.
