AP fuel line size

1981 KZ650-H1 CSR.  Would 3/16" i.d. fuel line be appropriate for the accelerator pump fuel lines between the carburetor bowls?
Stock size in the diagrams is 3.5mm i.d. (3/16 converts to 4.76mm. not sure if the extra volume of fuel would matter to the diaphragm).

I think the problem would be leakage from the larger hose not sealing properly.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationI have never purchased from these folks, but they seem to have a lot of positive reviews.

Oops, try this.

Thanks. the AP nipples are 4.1mm od at the shaft and the barbs are 5.5mm, so the 3/16 fits snug on the barb. with moose clamps was thinking it'll be fine. since the tubing is short and fixed in place between the carburetors.

There's some 3.5mm Honda fuel/vent line on ebaayy <<>> httpX://www.ebay.com/itm/357897157901 replace the X with s .
Honda part number 95001-3500360M. black.

Motion Pro lists some clear 1/8" X 3' fuel line (which is a bit smaller than 3.5mm) for $15.99. Considerably more expensive than the line I linked to above.

Thanks. I had tried 1/8" in the past but don't want to go that route again. if the 3/16 doesn't work out, the Honda fuel line is probably the best option for me. UJM oem. sold by the foot. only need 6" (156mm). $8.95T. And this reminds me. years ago I went to the Kawasaki dealer to get some fuel line and I asked for the sizes in mm. They only had tygon in sae. A Kaw dealer without metric fuel line? what the heck? ha ha.

Kawasaki Dealerships started that Years ago H1V, only offering either Motion Pro or that Yellow Tygon. Kawasaki more often then not sold "individual" specific cut pieces, unlike Honda that sold in bulk as you've already found out. I buy in bulk of the Honda because i do a lot of the agricultural equipped engines. It's WAAY better then Motion Pro, motion pro is flimsy in comparison. The Original line used for the bowl Accel transfers was a Two part designed hose meaning it had a layer of some resilient bonded over the inner rubber. Another option, which i use quite often is the Stihl line. It's designed to be immersed in fuel! It's properties allow it to be used as Impulse line (heat) and Fuel line (petrol)    . And it'll last as long as the original! Just options. Shown attached to one barb is what you'll have if using the Honda line.

Suzuki also sells in bulk for much less than K, though I did not see any 3.5mm.
