Good Day everyone, Im wondering if somebody has ever shim Vm carb needle one by one? Example. 1-4 one clip or 0.5mm richer than middle cylinders?! Just to compensate Pods airflow? Thank youu

It's not uncommon even from manufacture to do "the opposite" and run the inner cylinders slightly richer due to the higher running temperatures

All carbs must be jetted the same when running open or with stacks etc.
The middle cylinders DO NOT need compensating for air flow.
The primary reason some factory machines are jetted different on the middle cylinders is due to certain airbox designs which causes higher or lower air flow rates to the affected cylinders.
The jetting differences to compensate do not result in those cylinders running richer or leaner than their neighbours but simply correct the A/F ratio to match the others so that all cylinders get the SAME fuel mixture ratio..

Thank you.. so even if the middle one receives less air because of pods on 1-4 cylinders. I need to have the same set up on all 4 ?!  I appreciate

I don’t know how to correct my Surging 3000-4000rpm.. WOT dyno let me know that I’m at 16afr and drop to 14 at 5000~ rpm. 6000 I’m at 12.5afr !! I guess My cruise surging is because I’m lean. Maybe this summer my Real KN pods will help instead Chinese one?!

I run pods and or open stacks on all of my zeds and do not suffer surging at any rpms or riding conditions.
Your issue lies elsewhere but junk those cheap pods asap. you are not doing yourself any favours trying to tune the carbs with them fitted.
You would be better off setting it up with non fitted.
Quality pods should deliver a non restricted supply of air anyway.

What you think about it ?! Elsewhere? No-Resistance coils/wires/plugs. Good voltage. Your air corrector as well

I know it's not cheap but a dyno graph (specifically of the AFR map) would point you in the right direction

Just out of interest have you had the choke plungers refurbished ? (if they leak it will over fuel regardless of jet size or needle position)

So weak between 3500 - 4500 then rich 6000 - 7000. This would suggest main jet/needle profile but you need somebody cleverer than me to advise options.
