29 Mar 2025 04:33I'm puzzled. If these are CV carbs then they're paired. 1 and 2, 3 and 4. Then you bring the 2 pairs together. I can't see how doing 2 and 3 first can help. Looking for education, not faulting..
Suzuki GS bikes specify starting with the two center carbs, then moving outward. Both bikes use very similar Mikuni BS CV carbs. Never had any issue this way. I'm surprised that Kawasaki is different...

For the first static carb sync after a rebuild or cleaning, i always use a 0,10 mm feeler gauge blade to setup the sliders or butterflys.
No magnifying glass needed and and the vaccum clock readings later are always near perfect!
