Where do these springs go, cv34’s.

Just finished putting my Keihin cv34’s back together and have these two springs that i can’t for the life of me remember where they go. 

I believe those two go between the #1 and #2, 3 and 4 carbs at the butterfly shafts. Right below the sync adjusters. All external and you can work them in without taking anything apart.

Thank you!! I has thought initially that is where they went, but in my head is why would they go there as don't seem to provide a purpose in that location. I popped them in though and I now have NO leftover parts. LOL!!
