Hello all!
bit of a 3D printing nerd here.
I printed an air box cap for my kz700 and would like to share the results.

What filament did you use? And are you going to provide a file (pdf?) for others to use? Thanks.
My son has a 3D printer, so maybe he can fab up that part.

I used PETG. There's very minimal exposure to UV, so ABS wasn't needed.
Yes! I can provide the STL file for it, if there's interest. Or any of a bunch of formats. I modeled it in Fusion360.
Also an option, if someone does not have printing capabilities, I can print it for materials cost (approx $2?) + shipping.

here ya go!
expect at least one re-print due to scaling and 3d printers typically making circle ID's a tiny bit undersize.

I know the model is missing the "LOOSEN ->" label on the top, and the small notch where it's supposed to "click" when tight to the filter/airbox. My airbox doesnt have any mechanism to "click" as it's worn down, so I can't test/confirm that part.

If you need any changes made, let me know. I still have the model for it, that I used to create the STL.What filament did you use? And are you going to provide a file (pdf?) for others to use? Thanks.

Thanks! The click feature and embossing are of no consequence to me. And thanks for the heads up on printing. He probably knows that it'll take more than one try to get it right, since it seems like that's a common thing whenever he fabs something.
