hi on working on another project would blue lock tight be ok to use as a thread sealer with ,its on the petrol tank out let i have o rings in place but i want a belt and brace ,i cant find any info on it if not what would be ok to use i have to use e 5 fuel but i do take the ethonal out of it thanks

Even blue thread locker would make future disassembly more difficult than necessary. If threads truly need sealant as opposed to a locking agent, we'd use fuel-resistant RTV.

Removing ethanol is not terribly complicated, but it also lowers the octane rating of the remaining fuel. Seems like a lot of work for very little benefit, and results in rather expensive fuel. (Extra equipment + extra time + octane booster + tossing 5% of the original fuel)
