Forum approved needle and seat for TK carbs?

I have a leaky TK22 on one of my 1981 GPz550s.

It looks like Kawasaki is OOS on the original needle and seat (16030-1009). The last time I checked these out the K&L kits were china garbage. Which "kit" parts are the best to get in 2024?

TIA

Japanese Keyster kits are the ones to go for.

Thank you. Is there a vendor in the USA?

I see that Z1 sells them but am quite confused. How can the same kit fit both the 1981 550 and the 1982 550 when the bikes have hugely different carbs? 1981 is mechanical, conventional slide carb. 1982 is a modern CV carb. VERY DIFFERENT. Any ideas?

These are for the TK22 carbs.  I believe these were used for the A series bikes, up to 1983.  Obviously, different from the CV carb TK carbs.

Somebody is going to be pissed because there's no way these jets will go in a 1982 or 1983 set of GPz carbs if the are made for the 1981 GPZ and the KZ550.

Quite possibly, that fitment information is an overview regarding worldwide fitment.  Yes, in the USA market, TK CV carbs were adopted for the GPz 550 starting in 1982, but maybe not for other parts of the world.  Regardless, it's easy enough to figure out what your bike needs.
