Z1000st fuel gauge sender was created by Willl33
Hi there, my bike's developed an issue with the fuel gauge sender just wondering if anyone has been able to nudge the float to get it to drop without the hassle of removing it from the tank?
Gauge working fine drops to zero when the bike is switched off but climbs straight to full on start up
Many thanks in advance Will.

Does the gauge drop to zero if you disconnect the plug to the tank - if the sender wire is shorted to ground it will give these symptoms (the gauge is basically a voltmeter with a variable resistor in the ground line)
