Throttle return cable

Just took possession of a 74 Z1. Right side handlebar switch needs to be replaced. Update: looked a little deeper and found the answer. Thanks all.

If I recall correctly, the Mikuni VM carbs make use of both cables.

Yes, they do, a "pull" and a "push".  Kaw used two different cables, the difference being the bend at the handlebar end.  But you can use the same cable part number for both.  The switch housing "ports" heights are a little different so you can install one before the other and get them to thread in if you pick the correct one.  (You'll know which one goes on first after you pick the wrong one!)
