Fuel coming out filters

Fuel coming out filters was created by Beaner242
82 1000. Forgot to turn petcock off this morning. Got home later and all the fuel has leaked out of filters. I checked float last week with clear tube and fuel was at bowl surface. Is that to high. Just not sure why all 4 would be leaking? Thoughts?

It's not uncommon for fuel to weep past the float valves if the fuel has been left on.
Especially if the bike has been parked on the side stand.
It may also be an indication that the valves are worn and need replacing or that sediment is getting past the fuel filter and preventing the valves from fully seating..

2 types of pilot jets. Is this normal? All 4 new ones do not have holes.
