Hello everyone.  I am on the hunt for 1 of these size 35 pilot jets-see pics below.  Wondering if anyone has one kicking around? I had to drill it out to get to the slow jet in order to clean it out…ugh…

Ok thanks, I have searched Jetsrus before but I will email them to ask.  I emailed the place overseas as well.  Neither company lists that size but you never know unless you ask.   I would hate to have to by another carb just to get a single jet. :(

Keyster pilot jet part# KYS-15A035, looks similar to the size and dimension you need.
You only have to shorten the shaft. Buy 3 jets = 10,50 € if something went wrong

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationNot sure if this will be any help or not.  Seller on Ebay claims to have several OEM jets in that size. Kawasakii part# is 92064-043

I ordered the eBay one as it looks similar to what I need, expected delivery next Wednesday. Fingers crossed it’s correct.  I tried running the bike without both of them installed, it did not like that, really rich and no power after 5000 rpm, lots of bogging. We’ll see how it reacts with the size 35 pilots installed as I know that circuit is not really used with more throttle and higher rpm.  It was running better before I drilled out that pilot so I feel confident I can get it back to that state.

thanks again for finding this item on eBay,  the jets were new and the carbs are working better. Still not at 100% yet, but better. Sync‘d them and it sounds pretty good. A little cold to be doing a test run this morning, but will see how warm it gets later today. if I unplug the rh spark plug wire the bike will still limp on the lh cylinder, but if I unplug the lh plug wire the bike dies immediately. It’s like the rh cylinder is not producing power at idle, but the bike sounds like both are running, timing light shows they both are getting spark. Compression is slightly lower in that side, valve adjustments are good. throttle response seems good, no stutter at a quick turn either. If I do rev it up to 5k or more I am seeing black smoke out of the exhaust. I have a 2 into 1 exhaust on this bike. Jetting on the carbs are all stock values, I may need to reduce the secondary main which is at 125 or increase the main air jet size, currently at 90. Will first read the plugs out once I can ride it and get a good test in.

You might want to check to see if both cylinders are firing.  It sounds like one isn't.  You can use a squirt bottle of water on the headers right after a cold start.  Or use your hand, but be very careful.  Touch the header right after a cold start to see if both are firing.  If one cylinder is cold, it's not firing.  The header pipes warm up very fast, so again, be careful.

from a cold start the lh header does warm up faster than the rh judging by my hand feel, however after running it for 10 plus mins at idle while setting the sync of the carbs I used my pyrometer and measured 297 degrees at the rh header where it enters the head, and 254 degrees on the lh one. So although the rh takes longer to heat up, it seems to get hotter. Will do this experiment again once the bike cools down. I am running the stock air box and filter. My reason for going to a smaller secondary main was the black smoke I am seeing when the bike is revving over 5000. I need to get it on the street and load up the motor before determining any next steps.

My son took it out today, every time he got on the throttle it blew black smoke out of the pipe. Then it would bog down once it hit 7000 rpm with more black smoke. Seems like too much fuel all around. Next step was to remove the stock filter and left the air box door off. There was definitely less black smoke but it still bogged down over 7k. Everything is stock except for the 2 into 1 exhaust pipe. The compression is good in both cylinders. He noticed the idle kept changing at each stop, some too low and it would stall then too high after he turned it up a very small amount.
