Anyone have any experience running a Henry Abe breadbox? Just curious if they run better than a stock air box or will it be similar to running K&N pod filters?

Nothing runs better than a stock air box. A stock air box is a engineered item tailored to the engine combination.

Have run them, they are OK, and less sound that individual pods, but no performance difference.

Those are VM26 carbs off a 900/1000, that box will fit these carbs only, not the stock VM24 on KZ650.
I just stumbled across that NOS air box in a bin of parts I bought at a swap meet. I just replaced the disintegrated filter foam with UNI green foam I bought from my local dealer. The rubber on the spigots was perfect and the chrome good, probably mid 1970's vintage, not sure what they go for now.

I have one on my LTD, bought it many years ago for something like 20 bucks. I like it better than pods but you need to change the filter foam like Injected did, UNI foam works great. If you can find one be prepared for sticker shock.
