Microsquirt EFI was created by bneedy
I am attempting to build a set of maps for my 1980 KZ1000G restomod in TunerStudio software for my Microsquirt ECU. I have completely rebuilt every system on the bike and got it running on Mikuni VM29 carbs. I then designed and built an EFI system from various bits, but am new to programming an ECU. I am looking for a set of working maps for a similar engine that I can study and use to modify those created by the TunerStudio software. I understand that I will need to get it sorted out on a dyno (as soon as I can find one who can use this software), I am just looking for a set of maps to use as information on the ranges for a similar running engine and use these to scale the autogenerated TS maps back as they are a bit far off. Is this something that anyone can provide? I attached a few pics to show my project, before and after EFI. Thanks in advance. Bill

I can't help you with tuning, but I am very curious about your project. Can you give us details of how you did the conversion? What throttle bodies did you use? What are all the other pieces you had to add to the bike?
As for tuning, have you asked for tuning maps on the megasquirt/microquirt forums? I'm assuming there are plenty of example out there. They may even scale pretty well to your application, assuming the injector sizes scale with engine size.
I'm surprised that the software doesn't have an auto-tune feature that would help you to push the default map closer to correct.

Your bike is looking great and it´s build with a lot of love to the details. Want to see some more pics in the daylight instead of your dark garage. May i ask, how do you install the oil pressure gauge and what kind of EFI throttle body did you use?

I have a similar setup but do not have it running yet so no maps (my bike is a 750 so would be slightly different anyways)
But I have done some homework and there was a guy I found on You Tube who was doing some distance tuning on a guys sand rail that was running a ZX1100 motor. Go onto You Tube and search "Microsquirt Motorcycle" and all kinds of stuff pops up.
Megasquirt also has there own tuning associated channel on there with all kinds of training videos on how to set up maps.
TunerStudio also has a self learning function where you can just drive away and it will adjust the maps to be more optimal (this assumes you plug in all the correct variables for you motor combination) but the ECU needs to be plugged into laptop/tablet/phone with software running.
Here is that link :

That's a fuel pressure gauge. It's on the side of the regulator. The ITB is from an '84 GPZ. See the (mostly) full list above in this string.

I’ve seen most of the TS how to videos out there. Was looking for maps of a similar system to study. No luck so far. But thank you for your interest and follow up.
