Keihin CR35 main jet size?
02 May 2022 09:28 - 02 May 2022 09:47
What seems to be the size of jets folks are running on bigger carbs? The only thing I have noticed is some times when rolling onto the throttle in 3rd it will surge a little. Plugs look dang near perfect but I think It may be a tad lean. Fixing to install a innovate AFR guage and see where we are at.

Try to set the jet needles one or two clip position higher before struggling around with main jets.

It seems like the AFR gauge will give you a lot of useful feedback. Please share your setup once you get it working.
Do you know what the specs for the engine are? What's the displacement? Compression ratio? Cams? CR35 are pretty large for a KZ1000.
