Hey I was curious about when traveling to low altitudes did your bike run lean with these kz1000 and vm26 Makuni?

I'm in the Cascade Mountains at 4500 ft. Im planning on a short travel to 100 ft. elevation with my KZ1000-A1.

So my question would go to anybody but especially those living in high elevations like the Pacific Northwest, the Rockies Mountains and possibly the Appalachian Mtn. You got your bike tuned and jetted good. Now you travel dropping 4000 ft in elevation. If it ran lean , did you pull over and changed needle positions?  Did you change out to the larger jets you brought with?

I'm really cautious about overheating and damaging the motor. Im sure some people had to deal with this because it didnt adjust itself back in 1977.

What jets are installed now?  Do you have the stock air intake and exhaust?

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.
