Anyone know what model these are? Compatible with 79 KZ1000 by any chance?
Thanks in advance,

Those look to be BS Mikuni's of some sort. You have to measure the outlet throat to judge size. They are most likely either 32mm or 34mm. My guess is that they are off a Suzuki GS bike, because the choke boots on the Kawasaki variants are accordion type.
Those carbs are missing a fair number of parts, such as for the choke. Some of those parts are hard to come by so keep that in mind. Also, a 1979 KZ would have come with VM carbs which have a smaller outlet flange than these, so mounting them up will take some mods.

Thanks much. Saw them on Facebook marketplace and figure for $100, I'd at least find out what they were and if I could use them. I'm less than thrilled with the idea of rebuilding my VM26's after reading your thread you posted yesterday......

You will never get the CV's 100% without an airbox or you will face lots of hassle getting them to fit your existing one.
The VM26 pumpers are simple to work on and will perform just fine once done.
The troublesome triangular sensor diaphragm can be deleted and they will perform like stock VM's but with the advantage of an acceletator pump.

You would be better off re-building the VM's than trying to get the CV's to work. Thanks much.
