 Hey guys, finally got my bike back and all is well with it, apparently (if anyone remembers) since putting the engine back together my timing was off by a little bit and he fixed that issue, i did go ahead and run with the cr26 which have been a headache trying to get on. What ended up happening was that the adaptors supplied were a little bit bigger than the intake manifold boots. So, he had to get  rubber couplers, attach that to both end which made the carbs pushed back a little bit farther, so now i cant get air filters 1 and 4 on. Is there an adaptor that can work with these carbs and for the D1 stock intake manifolds? Maybe a rubber couple that reduces to the correct size? Any ideas? Might have to make something...thanks.

The CRs have replaceable tubes on the engine side, which they call Spigots. 

It looks like, for the CR26, the available spigot engine mounting ODs are 30, 35, and 36mm.  Do you know the OD of the original carbs where they fit into the mounting boots?

So i was sent part number 020-040 which did not fit the 29mm stock carb holders on the engine; I talked with sudco and they are sending over part number 020-064 which looks like they'll work going based off the diagram. They're also shorter so i think ill clear my petcock as well. Fingers crossed.

Hi it's unclear,are you using  homemade adapters between the CRs and head
 You might have to make custom spigots that fit properly to the rubber intake boots
