Hey all, first post. I apologize if it’s been covered but can’t find anywhere. My concern is this small notch in the bottom of each of the slides. A. Is it suppose to be there? B. When tuning the slides, do I want my .8-1mm gap to be from inside that notch or from the bottom of the slide? The picture was taken from the engine side of the carbs. Thanks for any help!

Yes they are supposed to be there. You bench sync for the air box side. Read the included for procedure.
