1197cc, 10.5 comp. .435 cams.
Will 29 Smoothies work? Or too small?
Want to try them instead of 36 Lectrons, just to see if the 29 carbs are functioning?

No harm in running them to check their function.
They will be ok for bottom and midrange but may restrict all out top end performance.
I'd go for 33 smoothies or similar rather than Electrons for the road.

Thanks Zed. Yes, I figured that. It is a 1/8 mile beater drag bike. I just want to make sure the 29's are functioning and not leaking.
Might be a good way of cleaning the combustion chamber! Leaned way out top end once or twice!   Just shy of burning up some valves or ring lands.

VM29's are worth a pretty penny these days.  You can ebay them and score enough $ to buy some RS36's and have beer money left over.

I just scored a set for $250 + $30 shipping. It’s all about being there at the right moment.

I think the last set I got was in the '80s when I traded a kz250 for a set!
