Hi, I'm just trying to sort out the jetting on a KZ550D1. It's not exactly standard, so I'd really appreciate knowing what jetting works for other setups.
I have pod filters, 4-1 exhaust and ZX550 cams. It has 100 main jets, needles on 3rd slip, 32 pilots and air screws are 3/4 turn out. It ticks over, has a reasonable mid range but anything more is a disaster. This, BTW, is after dropping the mains from 105.
Next step is to try dropping the needles but I'm not convinced that the mains dont need to come down a size but what jetting works for you?
