VM28 (from KZ1000) Lower Membrane Adjustment

Hello,
I am checking and adjusting the VM28 carburettors (coming from a KZ1000) that I installed on my KZ750E.
I found a KZ1000 service manual on the internet, where the synchronization process is explained, but the adjustment of the bar acting on the lower membrane is not taken into consideration (see photo).
How should the bar tension be adjusted?
Does anyone have a KZ1000 manual of a version where the membrane was present?
Thank you

The manual you need is right here on KZR.  Page 247.
www.kzrider.com/modules/ServiceManuals/K...Service%20Manual.pdf

The plunger stroke length determines the volume of fuel injected.  This can be tuned depending on your particular bike and running environment.  The stock setting is a good baseline though.

According to my factory manual for the KZ1000 there should be between 10.7-10.9 mm of thread below the brass nut, when i refurbished my pumpers i made a long brass nut that included  an extra 10.8mm to its length, which means it is much easier to set, screw the nut on until thread is flush with the end and job done.
