BS34 - To needle swap, or not to needle swap

82 LTD 1000 K2 - Purchased 100% stock but the exhaust was in bad shape. I replaced with a Delkevic 4-1. The carbs were setup by the PO with 127 mains and different needles with a more aggressive taper (pics below).

I'm working to complete the setup and match the carbs and in lieu of a bunch of swaps I was hoping someone has some experience with a similar setup as to what the bike would "like" the best.

I've read the factory setup was normally lean in the midrange, so I even though I have a stock set of needles, I'm curious if this set with a more aggressive taper might help alleviate the mid-lean condition or should I just set it all back to stock 122.5 mains and stock needles, or some other combination.

As always, input is appreciated.
Thanks
