Hi all, refitted my carbs, after a bit of a refurb, float levels, sync ect, set air screws 2 1/2 turns out a quick blast up the road to warm her up went really well re set the idle, up the road again and idle had increased quite a bit, any views

Did you have to use the "choke" to start & warm up the motorcycle?

ps: it helps to mention what model it is.

Mystery, what happened to zed1015’s post. He stated air screws should be about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 out, also asked what bike.

I’m not crazy I saw it and now it’s gone?

Oops apologies 77B1 and yes it needs choke to start and then I can drop lever halfway for a 2000 fast idle.

No! you're not crazy.
Started the post assuming it was a 900/1000 then quickly searched Ninjas posts and saw it's a 650 for which 2 - 1/2 turns out is correct so deleted it.
